TATTOOS

TATTOOS

I’m a community-taught tattoo artist, based in so-called Atlanta. I make traditional style tattoos, pulling inspiration from vintage flash, arab folk art, and queer culture. I strive to create a welcoming and accessible tattoo experience for folks who might otherwise be marginalized in traditional tattoo shops.

At this time, I am almost exclusively offering flash tattoos, which you can pick from my catalogue of flash designs. You can view all of available designs on Instagram. Each design lists an estimated price range.

For information on how to request a custom tattoo, see here.

I work out of a private studio in Douglasville, 35 minutes west of downtown Atlanta. The address is shared upon booking confirmation.

Please read before booking.

  • I make traditional style tattoos— this means bold lines with color or black/grey shading. I do not do fine line, realism, or script/text tattoos. If traditional is not your style, I’m probably not your artist, but I would be happy to help you find someone nearby who is a better fit! Reach out and I’ll do my best to refer you.

  • Rather than charging on a sliding scale, I tend to work with budgets— during booking, I ask you to share your budget. I will do my best to make your requested tattoo within your budget. If I find your request exceeds your allotted budget, I will work with you to troubleshoot the size/level of detail in the tattoo design so that we can make your tattoo request work for both of us. I will never turn someone away for lack of funds.

  • I offer free color tests for melanated people and free touch ups for all clients— just email me at tatsbysak@gmail.com to inquire about setting up one of these appointments. It’s important to me to that we work collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for your tattoos. Color tests are ideal for people who want to know how certain colors will heal on their skin tone prior to committing to a color tattoo. Touch ups can be scheduled after 1 month of healing.

  • Client comfort and safety is my number one priority— please familiarize yourself with the Client Bill of Rights, and let me know if you have any access or comfort needs ahead of our appointment.
